So...I decided to open an SR w/ Oracle. To do so, I thought "Let's try
again, from the beginning, to make sure I accurately document all my steps
to get to the error." So, I try deploying the agent again, and I'm taking
notes in my SR creation, documenting everything. Problem is, this time, I
click 'Deploy Agent'', and it worked!
So, I have no idea why, taking same steps as yesterday, it worked fine
today.
So, sorry to bother you all. I'm sure I'll be back with many more OEM
questions, but, for now, I'm happy.

This all Linux x86_64, and in fact, Oracle Linux 7, that's all we run.
It's 13.3 on 19.3, no patches, and I don't even know what a 'gold image'
is, so I'm probably not using one.
I was hoping for a quick resolution, but as that now seems less likely,
I'm probably going to open an SR. When I do, I can forward you the SR
number, if you don't mind.,,,

I actually just rebuilt my lab w/ 13.3 on a 19.3 db, no patches, and had
no issues w/ deploying agents. Was using all Linux X64, no gold image.

I don't understand what's going on here. chomd should be acting on a
file, the 13.3.0.0.0_AgentCore_226.zip file. If I execute the command '
/bin/chmod 755
/u01/app/oracle/agenthome/ADATMP_2020-01-08_17-21-17-PM/13.3.0.0.0_AgentCore_226.zip'
manually, it works fine.
Any ideas? Can anyone help here?

I created and configured GI home, used the sample template to create my
DB, and then the em13300_linux64.bin ran to completion.
Now I just have to figure out how to use this thing... :-)

Of course, it has to be OL7 for 19c (and should be).
Once you are up and running, just make sure you have the latest
version of all the plugins. I think there are some issues if you don't
pull
down the latest plugins when the repo is on 19c. Can't remember where I
saw
