I installed 10g on Fedora last night with 384M and 2Gb of swap. It passed
the system checks and completed successfully.

There was an error starting CSR so I won't be using ASM (only have one disk
on this box anyway :)

Has anyone been able to force the installer to bypass the memory check on
linux. laptop only has 512M, and i'm not in position to purchase a new
one so i can put 1G of ram in it.

i'm pretty sure it reads /proc/meminfo.

any ideas would be appreciated.

thanks, joe
