Gints This made me laugh but not in a nasty way. Well done for finding it! I've never noticed a bug like this, I guess because I always do modelling in the schema owning account (which never has the DBA role). Schemester is not actively supported anymore, so I guess this is unlikely ever to get fixed. So as a result for a table I got following FK constraint generation statement ALTER TABLE CMIS_DB2.IRA_ADOPCIJAS ADD CONSTRAINT FK_RADP_KAIM FOREIGN KEY (RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_K AIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID, RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KA IM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,R ADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAI M_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RA DP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM _ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RAD P_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP _KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_I D,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID,RADP_KAIM_ID) REFERENCES CMIS_DB4.KLS_AKT_IEMESLI(KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID ,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID ,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID ,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID ,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID ,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID ,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID ,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID,KAIM_ID) / But I only have 4 schemas (with identical constraint name) so the tool multiplies not only with 4 ;))) Gints 2006/2/27, Clarke, Andrew <andrew.clarke@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>: > It's not a UML tool but Schemester is free and a heck of a lot better at > modelling databases than Visio: http://www.schemester.co.uk/ > > If you do have Vision already and you want to add UML capability Pavel Hruby > has free ones on his web site: > http://www.phruby.com/index.html > > Cheers, APC > > > > A P Clarke > Technical Consultant > LogicaCMG UK Public Sector Division > Stephenson House > 75 Hampstead Road > London > UK > NW1 2PL > Direct Tel: +44 (0)207 446 4006 > Fax: +44 (0)207 446 1352 > Email: andrew.clarke@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > ________________________________ > From: oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] > On Behalf Of Robertson Lee - lerobe > Sent: 24 February 2006 09:59 > To: oracle-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: Non Oracle UML question > > > Hi, > > Sorry for the non Oracle specific question but I was wondering what you guys > out there were using to build models (LDMs, PDMs etc.) ? > > I would prefer cheap or free tools if possible but any recommendations would > be great. > > TIA > > Lee > ************************************************************************ *** The > information contained in this communication is confidential, is intended > only for the use of the recipient named above, and may be > legally privileged.
