RE: Multiple (SYSADM) Schemas in a Peoplesoft Database

Yes, that is clearer. In PeopleSoft terminology, a 'PeopleSoft database'
exists in a schema (usually SYSADM) in an Oracle database.
Unfortunately, the two terms are often used interchangably.

So it is supported to have multiple 'PeopleSoft databases' in multiple
schemas in the same Oracle database - but this is not recommended.

* If all the databases are in the same database server then the same
database parameters apply to all. You cannot control them separately.

I take it you mean if all the schemas were in the same database then the
database parameters apply to all

The only possible exception is if you have Portal and just one product (such
as HR) then you might put them together because they are so tightly bound.

Now that's an idea David.
