Listers -
Please disregard - I finally got it to work, there was a permission
issue. Just an FYI - Oracle can read the contents of the PDF files,
WORD docs and EXCEL spreadsheets and convert it to readable/searchable
text. I was able to search for words contained in each of the
document types. If anyone would like the full steps and scripts, just
send me an email.
Again, this search spans 9 columns across 4 tables. The data is
linked by an ID in each of the tables.
