Sean Hull's "Karma" used to be a decent tool, Adam von Nieda's oracletool could
be used for monitoring, as well as "tora". I haven't seen a new release for any
of those for quite a while, and I'm inclined to believe that all of them would
need some work before they can be fully relied upon. Commercial ones may be
decent: BMC Patrol and Quest are the first things that come to mind. Quest
usually
has well written software and good products. BMC is left without Dave Ensor, and
now they're like the Bulls without Michael Jordan.
