It wouldn't hurt, but they are two separate domains and I don't think it would aid you in achieving your goal. And yes, there are connections between them but there are connections between virtually everything in technology. If you want to be a full-time Oracle SQL developer then I would suggest you learn database design, SQL development, and PL/SQL development.
