AIX has the capabillity to support files over 2GB. Ask your system admin
to turn on large files enabled. Or man mkfs

Hi All,
The env. is oracle 9.2.0.4 & AIX 5.2L (64 bit)

What is the safe limit for maximum datafile size ?
I see lot of articles about 2GB limitation.

Any advise would be greatly helpful.

Thanks.
Prem.
