Just a General Question on System Tablespace.

Hi Folks,
I just wanted to know , having a System Tablespace with 2 Datafiles..would
that overall be an good idea.
Cause the only way to get it back to one datafile would be to recreate the
database it self.
I have done this and its works...but really , has anyone tried using this as
an option or its just everyone believes system tablespace has to be on one
datafile.
