I think this is a network error. I have seen it when using ssh to
connect to various servers when there is a network issue.

Subject: JDBC errors - any ideas of cause?

An application trying to log into the database is getting the errors
below.
Any ideas on what could be causing this? There isn't a specific ORA-
error
number for me to look up?

ERROR Io exception: Connection reset by peer: socket write error
java.sql.SQLException: Io exception: Connection reset by peer: socket
write
error
