Dear all,

I have successfully installed oracle 10g on my machine(config below).

333 Mhz Intel Pentium
224MB RAM
600MB Swap Space
OS: Mandrake Linux 9.0

Everything works fine including isqlplus
SGA size begin set to as per the min req.

I think there will be some minimum requirements for the processor abilities;
but speed is not an issue.  For example, I have 8.1.7 running on an Intel
166 MHz box with 128 MByte RAM, and it runs fine for training and
experimentation.  I'm fairly sure I tried to install 9 on it but couldn't
because a later processor is required.
