I always took the easy way out on 10gR2 and just used the Perl distribution that came with Oracle. This worked out good for one-off scripts, but can get messy if you require other modules for any reason. This also worked out for me since our servers are locked down and I can't get permission to compile anything from source. There is some detail here with some CGI-BIN examples to test connectivity: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14190/confmods.htm#sthref519 -Dave -- Dave Mann www.brainio.us www.ba6.us - Database Stuff - http://www.ba6.us/rss.xml
