Agreed. That is a direct path load. The only pontial for undo I see is
the index maintenance phase, agreed. I never looked into that to find
out what exactly that ment.

Attached is the sql monitor plan for that sql when data volume was
~500million+ and this one also failed that time. I do see "load as
select" and "index maintenance" in the sql path, so mostly its
doing direct path load only but the UNDO generation perhaps
because of Index maintenance only. Correct me if wrong.
