For largest databases see = http://www.wintercorp.com/vldb/2003_TopTen_Survey/TopTenWinners.asp I = recall a later release where our 1PB database was included. The folks = at Wintercorp were looking at databases with online storage only. Still = we had about 200 TB online at the time this report was written. I don't = have the details, but new event data is no longer being placed in the = Ojjectivity database. The operational side will have to be able to acquire data at a fantastic = rate but store data coverting a limited timespan. It looks lie the will = be some aggregation brfore the analysts get their hands on it.=20 Ian=20 -----Original Message----- From: oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx = [mailto:oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Goulet, Dick Sent: Wednesday, September 08, 2004 11:27 AM To: oracle-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: How to store 50 Terabytes per day?
