I'm not really worried about it either - I'm glad that people have
picked up on it as it the first step in debugging poor execution
plans.
Sql Plan Management basically has the same premise as this quote from
George W. Bush:
"There's an old saying ... that says, fool me once, shame on... shame
on you. Fool me - you can't get fooled again."
And it is a very interesting subject area as well as a complex one.
