Hi,
Please check your install log because if anything is wrong it should be
noted
there, like for example not enough space in your system tablespace. Check
that it
in installed against your intended database because you talk about wrong
username/password.
Your dad should contain same username/password as were used during install.

Hi! All,
Trying to install HTMLDB on 9.2.0.5. When I try the login page
http://server:port/pls/htmldb/htmldb_admin, it comes up with a
username/password prompt. If the correct username and password (admin/pwd)
are entered, the screen is cleared and the same details are asked for again.
If an incorrect password is entered, "invalid credentials" message is given.
Since it is 9i, I created the DAD manually - just copied the entries
from marvel.conf, but when invoking the URL again, I get an error instead of
the login page. The error in the Apache error logs is "DAD disabled due to
misconfiguration", but cannot see any such thing in the dads.conf file.
Any clues? Tried re-installing with better attention to
documentation, but no luck. I am using the 10g HTTP server.
