I think I missed the pricing announcement too. Wouldn't Enterprise
Edition be $40k * 4 =3D $160k
and Standard Edition be $15k * 4 =3D $60k (excluding discounts)?  SE One
wouldn't apply because of the 4 cpus.

wow. that guy missed the whole pricing announcement for the mid-tier. I
hope he didn't really fork over $80,000 to license a 4 CPU Dell server.
Quoting from my head, I think it's more like $5,000. And no, I don't
work for Oracle (in fact several persons are probably rolling on the
floor over that notion on reading this.)
