It gets installed as well. You only need to configure it. That can be a
very interesting week long exercise, if you know what you're doing.
Hopefully, the platform is Linux?

When you do a clean install of Oracle 11gr2 enterprise, does the dg4odbc gateway get installed as well, or do you have to do a separate install for these gateways?
