1. Password protected roles in the forms that allow access to the
tables only through these roles.
2. Pass through user accounts.

Subject: Forms/reports Application and DB security

Hi,
We have applications developed by using forms 6i and reports 6i . We
have implemented roles on the DB side .
But we dont want our users to access the database by using other tools
like ms excel, ms access etc ..
How can we avoid this ?
