Michael, you might want to try the dbms_xplan command I sent earlier - it will 
tell you if cardinality feedback was used, along with lots of other useful 
info, like if dynamic_sampling was used, if a profile was used, if bind 
variable peeking was used, the estimated and actual cardinality, etc.
