There is 5 years from the last ship date that Oracle guarantees to keep parts 
on hand. They usually can get parts (for a higher cost) far after that date but 
do not guarantee it. 

By 5 years it's usually more Economic at that point to upgrade the HW. Most 
people usually upgrade every 3-4 years anyway.

Just what I've seen though.
