Re: EM database control issues

It figures...*after* I sent this message, I figured out my problem.

I'm not too sure what I did, but after playing with EM a bit, I was able to
start the database.  I watched the messages in the alert log and saw that the
database SID was different from what I was using...it had an _1 added to it.

When I used set my ORACLE_SID to the other value, I was able to connect via 
sqlplus.

I think it's time for a vacation....
