Well....I had to delete the PREV version (version 1) of the metric before
deleting version 2. That seems backward since if you try to delete version
1 while version 2 is active you get an error that you can't delete it if
there's another version.... LOL

As far as I can tell, there is no way to make it editable after it has
been published.
