database needs that it relies on for Edition Based Redefinition to
function properly.
I think it's wise to use the database provisioned by the Installer - I
have not heard of support / certification of using a pre built database not
built using the Rapid Install tooling.
You "might" (very very unlikely) get this to work but if you run into
issues you will have Support tell you something along the lines of
"reproduce this problem using the certified method of building a db using
rapid install"

provisioning service which provisions the database and I want to take
advantage of it and not to rely on database which gets created with
RapidWiz. Reason is that previsioning delivers a prebuilt seed database
which comes with many configurations prebuilt.
Rapid Install offers the option of creating an "empty" database (Fresh
Database) for the purpose of holding E-Business Suite and this is typically
used for new installations. -- Does that imply if we can't use pre
existing database?
