RE: Database connection from remote server

Sone like Shell'd, some like it Perl'd ... what can I say ... my SA is 
reluctant to put some
required packages for perl.

Soon we will get our own linux servers for the 10gOEM (RAC) install ... it will 
be _our_ playbox,
so I am planning to load it up with some much needed goodies.

Still, since we don't trust dbms_job and use cron, the syntax below works just 
fine for us ...
