But, Blake asked about determining the difference between SE and SE One, not EE 
and SE.

According to the document that Rajesh mentioned, 735550.1, there's no 
difference in software between SE and SE One.  It's simply a difference in the 
license you purchased (and presumably, the price you paid).  The software is 
the same.

Just now i did checked from my virtual system and you can find from the 
inventory/logs
Am using 12c and of course for 11g & older versions it applicable same.

from install logs, you can search word for "Database edition"
