Michael,
The space error tends to be a catchall error thrown by the assistants. This
is more likely a clustering issue of that disk group. Make sure that you
can see the disk group on all of the nodes of the cluster.
If the error is actually a space issue, it might be that your
db_recovery_file_dest and size are set to and exceed that disk group.

select to place the database in archivemode, because I plan to enable after

How/why is it determining that i need that much space for DGRECO?
