I'm going to try to answer this and still stand by my "husband/wife
confidentiality agreement" that Tim and I have... :)
You have the option via the EM13c CC to simply utilize Snapclone, which
would simplify a lot of the issues a 10TB clone would run into by creating
one test master database, then use snapclones to eliminate the time and
space used by multiple clones. The Test Master would track the block
changes ONLY on the numerous clones and so you would save space. The
snapclones would speed up the clone itself, taking hour long clone
processing down to just minutes.
Delphix uses similar technology.
Now, a tenant clone is still a clone, but only having to duplicate the PDB,
saving time as it doesn't have to duplicate the container architecture and
saving space along with it.
Hope that explains this without going into too much detail. I have a new
slide deck that's out there on slideshare, but I know the talking part of
that session went into more of the detail in the session. The added
benefit of EM13c with the DBLM and Cloud pack is that you can create a Self
Service Portal to remove the DBA as the bottleneck in the process, making
them responsible for their own clone requests, plus in EM13c, there are
drop downs and pretty much five sections in the console wizard to fill out
to perform a full clone. Seriously, it's that easy.

Delphix is indeed a leader in this space.
Oracle offer this capability licensed (snap clone) as part of the Cloud
Management pack unless you are lucky enough to be on direct NFS in which
case clonedb is available to you as part of the db license.
Actifio offer a competitive product to Delphix.
All of these products are full featured and effective you will, however,
need a non-trivial budget for them.
