So, how does this compare to the features present in Oracle Multitenant
databases? What is the added value of Delphix contrasted to MT?

Delphix is indeed a leader in this space.
Oracle offer this capability licensed (snap clone) as part of the Cloud
Management pack unless you are lucky enough to be on direct NFS in which case
clonedb is available to you as part of the db license.
Actifio offer a competitive product to Delphix.
All of these products are full featured and effective you will, however, need
a non-trivial budget for them.
