Change ASM Redundancy - RAC

I just installed Grid/ASM 11.2 and created a single disk group called DATA.
Somehow it got created with Typical redundancy instead of external, so I
have lost half my total storage space. I need to change this. Problem is the
cluster and voting disk files are on DATA. Can these be moved to a new group
so that I can drop DATA, I know this can be done with regular files but not
sure about cluster related files, seems like they would be a bit touchy.
