it arrived at my doorstep on friday. it's very good. =3D20

i definitely fall into the category of not really knowing the
relational model in detail so it is very nice to have a book like this
available. in the past i've shy'd away from the relational concepts
books because (at the time) they (at least the ones i saw) seemed a
little too abstract and meant for a classroom environment. ...in the
last year or so it has become very obvious to me that i could have
prevented Many problems with projects i was a part of had i more
clearly understood the relational model. i wouldn't think twice about
picking this book up.

...it is refreshing reading a database book that is not vendor specific =
as =3D
well.
