You may talking about new 10g installation, right. What if migrating from 9i to 10g when aud$ was residing in system tbs. Will it move to SYSAUX at the time of upgrade or to be moved manually.

Has anybody tested this aspect?

In 10g aud$ is placed in SYSAUX tbs IIRC.
