Are ODA nodes prevented from being NFS servers?

Team,

I have a customer who inherited an ODA x5-2 and they would like to use some of the ODA storage on other servers. In other words, is there anything from Oracle *preventing* an ODA node from being an NFS server?

The datasheet for this appliance <http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/database-appliance/documentation/oracle-database-appliance-ds-1867697.pdf> mentions "External NFS storage support" under the section for "STORAGE", which appears promising, but then there is a section entitled "Optional Storage Expansion" that cites...

/And, to expand storage outside of the appliance, external NFS
storage is supported for online backups, data staging, or additional
   database files.

...which indicates that ODA nodes can be an NFS clients, which is no big surprise, and a darned good idea.

Does anyone know if Oracle has removed or restricted the capability for an ODA node to be an NFS server?

Thanks in advance!

-Tim
