Hopefully I'm remembering correctly, but, if you customise a backup script from
the gui, it only customises that particular one backup. If the script is being
generated from the profile or similar, you need to make changes there.
It's been a wee while since I had to use CommVault but back then our profiles
dictated what would be backed up and cleared down etc. Scheduled backups did
one thing and manual backups via the gui did another. Customisation only
affected the manual backups. Changes to profiles were carried out by a
dedicated team using parts of the gui that I didn't have the rights to access -
hence my fuzziness on the matter.
Mladen may well jump in and correct me. I'm bound to be wrong!
