I see your question and raise you the following:

Apply 10.1.0.4 patch 10 (win32) now or wait for
Windows32: Patch 1

or later - ETA : 10-Feb-06

Sorry that I'm no help - we're done with 9i R2.
We had to take the course of applying 10.1.0.4 patch 10 now, rather than
waiting for something that hasn't shipped yet. My vote is for apply now -
but it depends upon your environment.
