I think Oracle VM is a good product (apart from GUI) and will find it's
place over time.
We also use RH ... UEK not allowed (corporate policy).
But we had couple POC systems with UEK for single instance DB's ...
everything was OK we noticed no difference compared to RH ... but policy is
policy ;-)
