Amazingly I had to do just this thing this morning. Yes, you can remove and
replace xdb. The steps are pretty simple. There are several links telling
precisely how to set up the ACLs once you have replaced xdb. You can message
me off list if you like.

Subject: ACLS oracle 11 UTL_MAIL.

11.2 Redhat LInux.
I've migrated to 11g . I use email. So I need to set up acls but the XDB
portion of the database is invalid and was when it was a 10 db.

What would you do? Can XDB be dropped and recreated?

I will set up a SR but just wonderd if anyone had this problem and a quick
way of sorting it.
