Mladen,

who wrote /(Emphasize mine)/ "/I//don't particularly care for the aces, masters or the associates of the fabled furniture store ("Oak Table"). *I've learned some truths about that long time ago* //, but that is not something that I would be willing to discuss at length on this list"?
/Your ghostwriter? Somebody misusing your email address? You are hinting at something you learned, but you are not naming it (=gossip) neither you are producing evidence (=unfounded). I was facing behavior like that for the first time when I was about six years old. Even then I knew kids speaking like that just want to make themselves look interesting. Thus, fortunately, Wittgenstein's quote is most relevant.

Lothar, what do you find to be "unfounded gossip"? The fact that ACE status means a special relation with Oracle Corp? I illustrated that with the curios case of Kevin Closson, Oracle ACE (ret). Also, Jonathan Lewis is leaving the program these days. That very formulation means that there is a program. Your quote of Wittgenstein is very smart, I can't beat that. Unfortunately, it's also completely irrelevant.

so to cut this short you were talking "unfounded gossip", or to quote Wittgenstein: "Whereof we cannot speak, thereof we must remain silent"

Mladen,

In the spirit of protecting against "fake news", perhaps you'd care to substantiate any of these "truths" you've learned about the ACE program?
There is only one statement I made, so there is no need for plural. And I wouldn't care to substantiate it, any more than I already have. I said in my first email that I don't intend to discuss it at length, so I will not discuss it any further. Merry Christmas.
