According to Note303859.1 (9iR2 on RHEL4) I need to apply patch 4198954. This is the compat-oracle-rhel4-1.0-3 and compat-libcwait-2.0-1 rpms. As soon as I do I get the error: ERROR: ld.so: object '/usr/lib/libcwait.so' from /etc/ld.so.preload cannot be preloaded: ignored when I remove the rpms, the errror message goes away. Oracle Note252217.1 (9iR2 on RHEL3) states that patch 3006854 needs to be installed. This patch has a README that states "Not for IA64 machines". Has anybody ran into this problem before? Any help you will be appreicated. thanks. _________________________________________________________________ Is your PC infected?
