Mladen,
Thanks. I was all of a sudden in a situation during a migration with no
advanced warning that BitLocker was in use, broke the glass and shot off
the flare gun (at this list).
Instance startup time was way long. I fear timeouts during instance startup.
Searching the fine web here until bitlocker has completed its scrub.
Yes. I have my towel.
No. I didnt panic quite yet.
Thanks for interrupting your weekend evening for a reply to my distress
call.

Bitlocker is disk encryption software. Documentation is easy to find:

It has raving reviews:

My company's PC is using Bitlocker and it doesn't slow the PC by much.
There are also some issues:

All in all, Bitlocker seems to be a decent product. I wouldn't install
Oracle on it, especially not red logs. Hopefully, this answers your
question. Kellyn works for MS, she may be able to help even more.

Anyone out there have any experience with Bitlocker on MS Windows Server?
Sounds like it is strictly an OS thing so I can't find an explicit
certification doc in metalink.
If there is an explicit dependency chain to configure I'd sure like to
know about it.
Thanks,
Paul
