We are currently developing an application that is targeted to go live in June,
on 11.1.0.6. So far, we're still just in development, but, thus far, no issues
to speak of.

Burlington Coat, a famous Oracle reference client, went production with 11g
some weeks ago.
so it's begining to be more visible and trusted.

We have one customer with 11g in production (single instance) but we are not
involved too much in its support for now. Uptime is quite critical there - it's
online community business. We are looking to switch to 11g RAC soon in
production but it's not there yet.

Is there anyone out there that has taken the leap to 11g in production yet?
Any major problems?

Is the general consensus that waiting for release 2 is the way to go?

There is a ton of stuff in 11g that will be useful and I'm thinking about
heading down the upgrade path but if it is just a flat-out bad idea, I've got
plenty of other stuff to do.

I realize this is very open ended but any input would be appreciated.

Thanks!
