I'm not sure I'd call them "gotchas" but there are quite a few things you
have to do changing from 10g to 11g.
There is a document that discusses how most of them may apply to individual
existing databases environments.
By 11.2.0.3 I'm not aware of anything that worked in 10g that is broken.

I'd say my top two are the changes in the default grants to the connect role
and case sensitivity being on by default.

If you're RAC, there is a whole new orientation to the way you set up grid
infrastructure.

This definitely requires preparation and testing at the level of a project,
not an email, but as long as any canned applications you have are certified
on 11g, you should be able to make it work.

Can I load 11g on an already existing 10g instance? Any gotchas?
