I am in such a scenario - I have to be on call 24/7/365.25 for both
Oracle and SQL - it's been crazy, but they say I'll get a junior guy
next year.

I have read a few times that some guys are the only dba in a company.
What happens when you are sick / go on holiday?
Who would recover the databases in such scenario arose?
