Hi Sylvain,
Yes, async io is supported in 1159 / 9i . Its the DB feature and RHAS3.0
does support async io.
init.ora parameter is disk_asynch_io .

We are running EBS11i 11.5.9 on linux RedHat AS 3.0 , and
I 've just realized that ASYNCH IO are not enabled by default on our
platform.
Somebody knows if asynchronous IO is supported with E-Business 11i and
Could tell me more about ( can we expect to increase performances ?)
