We use this same reliance surgical stool. Ask for one that goes extra high.
For our peds patients (all our patients are kids) this stool has the extra
feature of pulling up on the seat pump riser thingy.... This prevents the
seat from rotating. So many of our kids likes to wiggle while Imaging. We
can stop them in their tracks without them knowing it. 😉
The seat isn't very wide for those
"wider than normal" patients though. But the barber chair seat riser pump
is great for those heavier patients. No more putting your back out to
raising the seat.

Check into barber chairs or salon chairs, they help a ton for positioning
difficult or barristeis patients.

Hello! Looking for ideas for suitable patient chair for OCT’s and FA’s. A
seat a little larger than the normal patient chair...yet one that will sit
up higher if needed and preferably no arms...
Thank you all!!
