The best solution is to trade in old 750 for 750ii which truly are Dicom
and can be networked.

Hi Ditte- You've already checked with Zeiss, no doubt-? What was their
solution? ...we too will be likely going this route. Thanks.

Friends,

We are undergoing HIPAA Security initiative here at Bascom Palmer, and
we are struggling with ideas on how to make the Humphrey Visual Field
machines in any way, shape or form compliant. Any ideas, suggestions
and/or comments would be greatly appreciated!!

Please respond to Rick!!

Thanks a million for your time,

Ditte

In our last HIPAA Security meeting to discuss several of our
Ophthalmology Imaging systems, the question was presented of what [if
anything] our contemporaries are doing or have done to resolve
inefficiencies in their systems. In particular, we were hopeful to find
outside facilities that use Zeiss Humphrey Visual Field Analyzers
similar to ours to learn if they've taken any efforts to make them HIPAA
compliant.

I was hopeful you might be able to help us locate contact information
for people in other facilities similar to ours who perhaps can lend us
assistance? Names coming to mind might be Wills Eye, Wilmer Eye, Duke,
Mass Eye and Ear and of course any others you feel as appropriate. I
have already reached out to Don Enkerud at UF and will also be sending
an email to Dr. Puliafito out at USC.
