Bill did! Joe Warnicki challenged me to discover where fluorescein came from
and then present at the mid-year meeting in Santa Barbara in the early 90's. I
talked to pharmacists, manufacturers, and finally a chemist at VanWatters
Chemicals who started me on the coal tar, naphthalene, resorcinol journey. It
was really a fun adventure... and got me a place a couple of times on Dr
Yannuzzi's lecture circuit!😃
You never know where research on a topic for the Scientific Session or ICOP
might take you!!! It surely paid off for me! Good memories of our friend Bill
Nyberg, Gary! He really was a Renaissance man

We, the photogs, give the FA schpiel and get their consent. We usually give a

Hey Paula Morris, didn't Bill Nyberg usually joke about the veggie beget
dinosaur beget fluorescein theory!?

Most of the places I worked had the doctor consent the patient and the
photographer would explain the procedure more in detail and answer the
patient’s questions.

Who consents your angiogram patients? Photographers? Technicians? Physicians?
Our technicians do it at KEI and I wonder if that's the most common way.
Thanks,
