Peter,

This is what I sent to Tom privately...

Hey Tom,

Hope all is well with you.

We have been using Escalon's Axis web-based imaging management software in demo
mode since September and could not be any more pleased with it.

It has and continues to excel in everything it does/provides for us; ease of
use, simple/clean GUI, fast (we are saving full TIFF files), rock solid, great
support.

Please do not be put off by the fact that we are still using it as a demo,
academic settings never do/purchase anything product/service without extensive
research and multiple committee sessions/meetings to ensure that the product
will be what it should be before making a decision about final purchase. Make
no mistake, we will purchase the product, just waiting to sign final contracts
before moving forward. And that will be happening very soon.

We did have a competitor's product that we used for 2+ years prior to looking
into Axis and we were extremely unhappy with it. Problems were slowness,
unreliable, poor response for tech support. Glad to be done with that vendor.

Tom, in summary, I would highly recommend this product to any ophthalmic
practice regardless of size/setting without any equivocation whatsoever.

Please feel free to contact me should you have any additional questions.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

BTW - no proprietary/financial interest.

Later,
bob

Maybe I can have the info too. We are in the process of evaluating various
systems. Please keep it public.

Thank you

Peter

Would like to hear from anyone using either of the above.

What you like best and least, how the doctors like it, how quick is the
learning curve, any issues connecting to EMR.

Please reply privately:

Thanks.
