Bob here. I read with my left hand and do the same for braille. I had a
horrible time learning to track; I took lessons in Philadelphia with a
very impatient teacher. When I got home, I hired a private teacher and we
started from scratch. I worked very hard to learn the Optacon and
probably will never be a great reader, but it means the world to me to be
able to use it for what I need.

I read on this list of someone who uses more than one finger on one hand
to read braille? This I have never heard of. Does it make reading a lot
faster?

Bob
P.S. I remember the first joke I read with the Optacon:
What time is it when an elephant sits on an Optacon?
Time to get a new Optacon.
