[optacon-l] from the moderator (spam messages)

Hi everyone,

I apologize for the delay on this, but it was unavoidable.  I've seen 
the spam from the guy who's account appears to have been hacked.

I've tried to give him some time to discover and deal with the problem. 
  Ifd I see any more of these spam messages I'll have to unsubscribe him 
until his problem is resolved.

Haven't seen any for a while now so hopefully iverything has beene 
resolved.  If not, however, those are the actions I intend to take.

If you should happen to see any of this spam, please simply use your 
delete key which usually works quite well in these situations.

This hacking of accounts seems to be a problem which has increased 
lately and is a real nuisance to people on many lists.
